Job Description
The District Health Society, Coimbatore, is recruiting qualified Pharmacists for Government Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) under the National Health Mission (NHM). This is a contract-based position for 11 months, offering an opportunity to work in the public healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications as per prescriptions.
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory and ensuring stock availability.
- Ensuring compliance with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council regulations.
- Assisting in healthcare programs under RBSK (Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram).
- Maintaining records and reports as required.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharm.D from a recognized institution.
Mandatory Requirement:
- Must be registered with the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council and renew registration annually.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years (as of the application date).
